Location

Chalet Killarney is located in the village of Les Diablerets, just 1.5 hours from Geneva in the French-speaking canton of Vaud. Les Diablerets is a traditional Swiss mountain village offering a variety of recreational activities all the year round. The chalet is located a 5-minute walk from the village center on a hillside overlooking the valley. From the balcony of Chalet Killarney you will enjoy spectacular views across the valley and up to the Glacier of Les Diablerets.

Amenities

Chalet Killarney was built in 1729 and fully renovated in 1987, while maintaining the overall style and pine paneling authentic to the Diablerets valley. The exterior retains its historic charm while the interior provides complete comfort in all seasons.

The chalet has four bedrooms and can sleep eight people comfortably. A fully equipped, recently renovated kitchen with breakfast bar makes cooking easy. The large family-style dining room features a wood-burning stove while the expansive living room offers views of the Diablerets valley. These living areas will encourage you and your family and friends to socialize before, during and after meals. An intimate sitting room lets you escape from the crowd with your favorite book while balconies invite you to drink your morning coffee al fresco.

Amenities include washer and dryer, dishwasher, 2 bathrooms and one 1/2 bath, satellite television and radio/cd/cassette player, stove, refrigerator, and a wood stove with BBQ grill. The master bedroom on the main floor opens onto a large balcony suitable for dining and for enjoying the views of the Diablerets mountain range. The master bedroom on the second floor has a cathedral ceiling graced by the original 18th Century beams and offers views of the Diablerets mountain range.
